Article Snippet: Mice received intraperitoneal injection of either 400 μg of anti-IL-6 receptor (IL6R) antibody ( InVivo MAb anti-mouse IL6R, clone 15A7, BioxCell) or 400 μg of control IgG ( InVivo MAb rat IgG2b isotype control, anti-keyhole limpet hemocyanin, clone LTF-2, BioxCell) 24 h prior to laparotomy/no laparotomy, 24 h post-intervention, and then weekly for 2 weeks.
